Impact ramming is an uncontrollable method of crossing an object, usually a road or other small objects, without digging a trench. A so-called hammer that is driven by air pressure. With a steel pressing, a trench has to be dug on one side in which a steel tube and rocket are placed, after which the steel tube is pressed under the object. In a steel pressing, a steel tube is normally applied, which often serves as a casing tube for a pipe or cable. Another application of the steel pipe is drainage for extraction or infiltration.
Holland Drilling has a fully equipped truck for impact ramming with compressed air, a hydraulic crane and a stock of pipes with which the project location can be easily reached and the steel pressing can be efficiently carried out in diameters up to 1,400 mm.
