In my role as an assistant drilling master, I have varied tasks. I dig with a mini-excavator, measure HDD drillings, and assist with auger drilling. I really enjoy working with my hands and being outdoors. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Your responsibilities

You support the drilling master and ensure everything proceeds safely, correctly, and according to plan:

  • Assisting with horizontal directional drilling and/or auger drilling
  • Maintaining daily project administration
  • Inspecting cables, pipes, and conduits
  • Operating and managing truck combinations and drilling installations
  • Composing drilling fluids
  • Recording revision data
  • Cleaning boreholes and pulling in pipes
  • Carrying out all tasks under the guidance of the drilling master and in accordance with quality and safety regulations

What you bring

  • VCA Basic Safety certification
  • Drillmaster training in guided drilling (SOMA or Deltares)
  • Driving license B-E/C-E and code 95 knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of soil and soil properties
  • Proactive, flexible, customer-oriented, and solution-oriented
  • Accurate, efficient, and good communication skills
  • Willingness to follow training and obtain driving licenses step by step through our training package
