Your responsibilities

As an HDD drill master, you are responsible for the entire process of soil drilling. You lead your drilling team and ensure that everything proceeds safely, efficiently, and according to plan:

  • Guiding employees in the drilling team
  • Maintaining daily project administration
  • Inspecting cables, pipes, and conduits
  • Operating and managing truck combination and drilling rig
  • Composing drilling fluids
  • Collecting and interpreting execution data
  • Cleaning up boreholes and retracting pipes
  • Daily maintenance and transport of the drilling rig
  • Collaborating with project leader or executor according to quality and safety regulations

What you bring

  • VCA Basic Safety certification
  • Drillmaster training in guided drilling (SOMA or Deltares)
  • Driver’s license B-E/C-E and Code 95
  • Knowledge of soil, soil properties, and underground infrastructure
  • Experience with GPS equipment, KLIC system, drilling fluids, and measuring systems
  • Leadership, organizational talent, and problem-solving ability
  • Efficient, flexible, customer-oriented, and accurate
  • Good communication skills and team spirit
