In my role as a drilling crew member, I have a variety of tasks. I dig with a mini excavator and measure HDD boreholes. It's a lot of hands-on work, and I work with friendly colleagues every day.

Your responsibilities

As a drilling crew member, you are a key player in the execution of our drilling operations:

  • Assisting with horizontal directional drilling and auger drilling
  • Maintain daily project administration together with the drilling master
  • Checking the location of cables, pipes and conduits
  • Operating and managing truck combinations and drilling installations
  • Compiling drilling fluids and recording revision data
  • Cleaning boreholes and pulling in pipes
  • Carry out everything under the supervision of the drilling master in accordance with quality and safety regulations

What you bring

  • VCA Basic Safety (or be prepared to obtain it)
  • Driving license B-E/C-E and code 95 knowledge (not a prerequisite)
  • Knowledge of soil, soil properties and underground infrastructure is a plus
  • Proactive, efficient, flexible and customer-oriented
  • Good communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Accurate and responsible, with an eye for safety
  • Positive attitude and team spirit
