Your responsibilities

As Lead Driller, Auger Boring, you are responsible for the entire drilling process:

  • Supervising crew members in the drilling team
  • Maintaining daily project administration
  • Inspecting cables, pipes, and conduits
  • Operating and managing truck combinations and drilling installations
  • Composing drilling fluids
  • Collecting and interpreting data for execution
  • Cleaning boreholes and pulling in pipes
  • Daily maintenance and transport of the drilling rig
  • Carrying out all tasks independently, in cooperation with the project manager or site manager, in accordance with quality and safety regulations

What you bring

  • VCA Basic Safety certification
  • Drillmaster training in guided drilling (SOMA or Deltares)
  • Driving license B-E/C-E and code 95 knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of soil, soil properties, and underground infrastructure
  • Experience with surveying systems, bentonite, drilling fluid, GPS equipment, and the KLIC system
  • Leadership, organizational talent, and problem-solving skills
  • Efficient, flexible, customer-oriented, and accurate
  • Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit
