Your responsibilities

As a trainee drilling supervisor, you support the drilling supervisor and learn the complete drilling process step by step:

  • Assisting in preparing drilling installations
  • Operate and manage the truck combination and drilling installation
  • Inspecting cables, pipes, and conduits
  • Composing drilling fluids
  • Cleaning boreholes and pulling in pipes
  • Daily maintenance and transport of the drilling rig
  • Maintaining project administration
  • Collecting and interpreting data for execution
  • Doing everything in accordance with quality and safety regulations, in collaboration with the drilling supervisor, project manager or site manager

What you bring

  • VCA Basic Safety certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Driver’s license B (preferably BE/C/E)
  • Basic knowledge of soil and soil properties
  • Interest in technology, drilling systems, and safety
  • Willingness to learn and develop yourself
  • Knowledge of KLIC system, GPS equipment and bentonite is a plus, can be learned internally
  • Accurate, flexible, customer-oriented and a true team player
